I've warped 800 years across time and space to the Mongolia of Temüjin and I hope I can stay on his good side. I'm staying in a yurt so I must remember not to write in red ink: it's unlucky. They gave me a camel for getting about. But they didn't give me a saddle and I wish I had my bike. Temüjin seems like a normal kid. I wonder if he knows that he'll become a merciless military leader and that people will remember him as a name on menus in Mongolian restaurants. Still, Mongolia seems like an okay place to live if you're a yurt kind of person.
